Is IUI a Successful treatment for fertility?

IUI treatment (Intrauterine insemination) is one of the best options which has proved successful in different cases of infertility. In the treatment, the fertility drug is prescribed. If IUI is used with gonadotropins then the success rate is high as compared to the use of Clomid.
The success rate also depends on different factors like:

Reason of Infertility
How long you have been trying to get pregnant

How many cycles of IUI is ideal?
Women under 40 need to have at least 3 cycles of IUI before they choose IVF. It is also seen that as the patient move to 6 cycles the success rate drops. So, make sure you consult the doctor regarding your condition as they will help you make the right choice.
